Blogging provides a real and fast alternative to getting
started making money online. With free and really powerful
software like Blogger and Wordpress available it does not
take you much time to start your line of business.

In this article I am going to go through a way that you can
start making money blogging.

You need to start off by choosing your niche market. This
usually is a hobby of yours that you enjoy. Choose
something that you like as you will be working with it for
a very long time. After you have completed this do some
keyword research and find keywords that have very little
competition and get traffic. You can use a tool like
Wordtracker to do this.

Sign up for hosting for your blog and choose software like
Blogger or Wordpress to get started. Just make sure that
when you publish your blog that you do so on your web site.
If you publish on a hosted platform like Blogger you will
experience huge problems with your search engine rankings
when you migrate later on.

Develop a quality content site based on the keyword
research that you have done. Submit your blog to all the
major directories. This will enable you to get quality one
way links that will improve your search engine rankings.
Write articles and submit them to the major article
directories. This will also allow you to get one way links
and your articles will be viral in nature as they get
published. This will lead to increased link popularity and
traffic directly from your articles. You can also do a
press release announcing the launch of your website and
submit it to the major online press release companies.

Once you master these rudimentary skills you will be well
on your way to running your own home based internet
business and making money while you sleep from your blogs.
Just add Google Adsense or affiliate links to monetize your
traffic.
